Caleb's Prayer

“Lord, teach me to trust in you explicitly in and out of everything. Guide my footsteps onto the path that you have chosen for me, and help me to recognize that path.”

“Mom: I pray that you forever will prosper by the Glory of God. He has brought us through so much turmoil and pain, only to make us the women we are, standing before Him. I love you with all my heart and am so proud to proclaim you are my biggest role model and supported. I pray the Almighty will continue to guide us through this journey as He equips us to fight daily battles. Amen.”

“Prayer for the climb:

God, thank you for this wall. Without it, I would never learn to lean on you and loosen my death grip on keeping control. Climbing has helped me to see that EVERYONE has a wall that they’re climbing. Climbing has shown me that falling down is normal. Climbing gives perspective. After reaching a certain height, tears of frustration convert to tears of joy and traumatic memories morph into triumphant muscles. Help me not to judge people who fall during their climb to you, but to offer help and lift everyone up in any way I can. Climbing is a blessing. The wall exposes shame, ego, and weakness. The climb turns what was meant to keep me stuck on the ground into fuel for the future you have planned for me...for a future and a hope.”

Noah's Prayer

“Dear God,

There are multiple times each day where I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for where You’ve placed me. I see Your hand in the freedom You’ve given me to question, and the grace You’ve shown me in that process. I see Your hand in the people that surround me- in their grace, in their strength, and in their joy. I cherish their love because I’m so undeserving of it, and it’s wholly a reflection of You.

Thank you for this time in my life and the ways You’ve provided for me, especially when I don’t deserve it. The love I’ve seen in this city and these people has shaken me to my core. I’ve never seen anything like it, and it’s all because of You.”
